GeoXfere's Business Management Solutions are a suite of applications that perform the backend functions of companies whose mobile workforce are constantly updating and requesting information from backend corporate database systems. GeoXBMS provides the platform that enables this information to be efficiently, securely and timely processed, ensuring that the information is accurate, up to date and sent to the relevant backend systems. Typically, companies who need to integrate the various accounting (invoicing), fleet management (tracking and monitoring of trucks), order, delivery, warehouse and sales management systems would have a requirement for GeoXBMS. GeoXSms

This is GeoXfere's cost effective desktop SMS text messaging solution. This solution allows seamless and efficient communication between head office and mobile workforce. Head office staff use this easy to use application to create and send SMS messages to the mobile workforce. Messages can be predefined and stored to optimise time management and reduce overhead in the compilation and sending of long messages. All communication is done via the text messaging application, the base operator can send the predefined messages to employees out on the road, the employee can then respond to these requests or notifications by an easy to use menu driven application loaded on his/her mobile phone.

This solution negates the need for phone calls that results in substantial savings in telecom costs to the company. It also streamlines and automates the communication process between head office and the mobile workforce.

GeoXLink

This is GeoXfere's connection interface to third party accounting, order, delivery, CRM, warehousing and freight management systems. This interface allows bi-directional communication with backend systems that ensures data consistency, accuracy and that all information is updated in real time.

GeoXLink™ interface can be customised to the particular integration requirements of customers to ensure that deployment of GeoXfere's BMS or Mobile Enterprise Solutions with legacy or in-house systems is made easily, quickly and efficiently.

GeoXMessage

GeoXMessage™ is GeoXfere’s unified enterprise messaging solution. It allows users to conveniently and swiftly compile and send messages from office PC’s to mobile phones. GeoXMessage™ is composed of two distinct modules, namely GeoXSMS™ and GeoXmChat™. Both applications use the same easy to use interface, and depending on which communication medium the user wants to send the message (GSM for GeoXSMS™ or GPRS for GeoXmChat™) a message can be compiled and sent to a single or grouped set of mobile phone users.

All messages are stored in a centralised Inbox that is accessed by all client users of the system. The acknowledged state of message is colour coded to allow users see which messages are yet to be acted upon, also message filters can be applied to assist users in dealing with messages using specific criteria e.g. messages from driver A etc.

All messages sent status is indicated in interface so users know which messages have been sent and received or which ones have been sent but not received.

GeoXFleet

This is an integrated Fleet Management solution that enables company's to efficiently and cost effectively track, manage, monitor and control their trucks and freight. It can be used with any positioning technology (GPS/GSM/Radio etc) and can be integrated with GeoXfere's route planning (GeoXRoute™) application. GeoXFleet™ can also be integrated with in-cab telemetry systems to provide more detailed reports on driver behaviour, fuel consumption, change in temperature, security information etc.

GeoXFleet™ incorporating its four management modules displays on a map the location of vehicles, status of deliveries and other information such as driver name, registration, distance travelled, collection and delivery points, and route(s) taken.

Communication between the installed location device(GPS phone, mobile phone, PDA/GPS device) and GeoXFleet™ is done over the telecommunication network via GPRS or GSM. The choice of communication will depend on availability and geographic coverage of the specific technology.

GeoXFleet™ reports and digital maps can be accessed remotely via a standard web browser. So Fleet Managers, designated personnel and customers can get updated location and delivery status of trucks from literally anywhere where he/she has internet access. This service can improved to offer more functionality, as all the customer, vehicle, inventory and driver data is stored on GeoXfere's server, which allows for more querying and analysis by remote users accessing the server e.g. stock levels, driver data, customer account information etc.
